This 1000mm guardsman pull handle is a satin stainless steel back to back pull handle set for glass and framed entrance doors. It has a 1000mm overall length, 800mm fixing centres and a 32mm diameter round bar, with a classic straight guardsman (inline T bar) design. Supplied as a pair, one handle fits each side of the door and they bolt through to each other for a strong, neat fixing.
Also known as a straight pull handle, inline pull handle or T bar pull handle, the guardsman is the most popular entrance handle in the UK – a clean straight round bar that is comfortable to grip, easy to clean and suits almost any door. At 1000mm long it is ideal for shopfronts, office entrances and taller glass doors.

Which size guardsman pull handle do I need?
Measure the centres – the distance between the middle of your two fixing holes. On glass doors these holes are drilled before the glass is toughened, so the handle must match the existing hole centres exactly.

Installation
Check your fixing hole centres are 800mm and note your door thickness before ordering.
Fit one handle on each side of the door, pass the connecting fixing through the hole and tighten until both handles sit firmly against the door. On glass, make sure a protective washer sits between each handle and the glass.
Never drill toughened glass – it will shatter. If you need new holes, the glass must be replaced or drilled before toughening. For guidance on door handles and accessibility in public buildings, see the UK government’s Approved Document M.
