This 600mm polished guardsman pull handle is a mirror polished stainless steel back to back pull handle set for glass and framed entrance doors. It has a 600mm overall length, 400mm fixing centres and a 32mm diameter round bar, with a classic straight guardsman (inline T bar) design. Supplied as a pair, one handle fits each side of the door and they bolt through to each other for a strong, neat fixing.

Which size guardsman pull handle do I need?
Measure the centres – the distance between the middle of your two fixing holes. On glass doors these holes are drilled before the glass is toughened, so the handle must match the existing hole centres exactly.

Installation
Check your fixing hole centres are 400mm and note your door thickness before ordering.
Fit one handle on each side of the door, pass the connecting fixing through the hole and tighten until both handles sit firmly against the door. On glass, make sure a protective washer sits between each handle and the glass.
Never drill toughened glass – it will shatter. If you need new holes, the glass must be replaced or drilled before toughening. For guidance on door handles and accessibility in public buildings, see the UK government’s Approved Document M.
