This euro cylinder hook lock has a 30mm backset and a compact 46mm case, made for the narrow stiles on aluminium and steel doors and gates. It takes a standard euro profile cylinder, and when locked the hook bolt swings out 20.4mm and grips the keep, so the door or gate cannot be lifted, levered or pulled apart.
It is a low cost, like-for-like replacement for worn or broken hook locks on sliding patio doors, bi-folds, shopfront doors and sliding gates – anywhere a standard sashlock is too big or a straight bolt is not secure enough.

How to measure before you order
Backset is measured from the face of the faceplate to the centre of the cylinder hole – this lock is 30mm.
Case depth is how far the lock body goes into the stile – your profile needs at least 46mm of depth.
Hook position matters too – check the keep on your frame lines up with the 34.3mm hook before you remove the old lock.
